Finding research that proves violence begets violence is fairly easy. It pretty much is common sense and simple logic. Garbage in; garbage out is the computer lingo. If we were spiritual awakening movies to think of the human mind as a computer, it applies with equal verity. “If you sleep with dogs, you awake with fleas” is a saying that gives a physical picture to the same logic. Today it is known as the law of Attraction, as if we never heard this truth before. But what seems true is that we have difficulty applying a simple logic from one context to the other. I love the words vision and division. It teaches you so much. One helps you see, the other helps you divide. Take your eyes for example. You can see the sun, moon, people, all the objects of the external world through your eyes but these same eyes also stop you from experiencing the feeling of oneness between you and someone else. These eyes help you see the external world but they also stop you from entering into your internal world….. These eyes facilitate division as much as they grant you vision. Today, i have some interesting questions for you in this regard… When you close your eyes you try to shut the doors of the external world temporarily and make an attempt to rise above your body and mind. All these might happen subconsciously but it gives you sufficient hint that you dont need your senses to experience the force of God.
You need your eyes to see the external world but to enter into your internal world you need to shut your eyes at least initially…. As much as you allow your eyes to see the external world you have to train your eyes to also help you get into your internal world more frequently… The internal world can tell you exactly what you want and the external world can help you get all that you want… Unless you enter into your internal world you will never know what you want and you will always be unhappy no matter what you get…
Those beautiful eyes of yours have to learn to see both the external world and your internal world. If you see only the external world you would be watching only the second half of your lifes movie and your views would always be biased. You would be like a child who watches only the second half of the movie and who does not understand why the villain is trashed and beaten for no fault of his. You would have missed the first half of the movie where you see the villain committing all sorts of crimes and atrocities and how the hero of the movie is slowly but surely building his character, shaping his ambitions and sacrificing his life for that one goal which beckons him. A magnificent Tibetan tradition was spread in between barren mountains of Jammu and Kashmir of Ladakh. It is nestled at twelve thousand feet over sea level and can be considered a scenic landscape for movie shoots. If Pan Nalin would’ve known the place while stating the portrayals of the values in Tibetan system anchored on the ideas and teachings of the Buddha, Siddartha Gautama.
Regardless of the system influence during the Chinese invasion in Tibet, Tibetans’ morality and values are preserved. It is known all over universe that they are wealthy in cultures and traditions, particularly on human links to nature. The principles of Buddha are well inculcated in their lives every single day. The thoroughfares of Ladakh are full of mantra chanting Tibetans. The prayers will echo around streets.
Ladakh is absolutely the Omnipotent’s masterpiece. You can traverse beautiful sceneries amidst sandy highways in Rohtang Pass, approximately 50Km to Manali. The alluring river flows at the other side of the paths can captivate a tiring soul for a bathe. The conveyance left Manali around 2am dawn time. Even with drowsy perception, one will come to appreciate Rohtang Pass’ loveliness. But, wait! There are more remarkable encounters as we go further to Ladakh.
The movie Samsara and Ladakh are both awesome. In the movie, Tashi was in the cave for the period of three days, three months, three weeks and three days for meditation. It has been monks’ obligation to awake his being with noise from Tibetan bowl for the time has come to return to Samsara or the world. Tashi has gained knowledge on the language and came to retrieve his normal monastic routine and discipline, but only to recognize that his energy on sexuality was not taken directed well. For spiritual candidates, a mastery on sexual urge and huge amount of power over ejaculation and arousal are taught.
